'Novus' Hand Made Sheffield Pewter Flask in a Leather Sleeve (nov01)
New 'Novus' Hand Made Sheffield Pewter Flask in Leather Sleeve
Hand Made in Sheffield
Gift Boxed with Drawstring Pouch and funnel for filling
A traditional, hand made English Pewter Hip Flask.
Pewter is an alloy of Tin (90%+), antimony and copper and has been used for making drinking vessels since the time of the Pharaohs
Pewter is a beautiful material which almost has a life of its own. In hand made pewter you can almost see a grain from the ancient moulds still used to form these flasks
Pewter also ages wonderfully, the bright shiny surface dulls down over the years into a soft warm grey
